MESIVTA BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION

Established in 2018, the Mesivta Basketball Association (MBA) was first developed as a summer basketball league for Mesivta Bochurim in the Far Rockaway/Five Towns community. The League was a competitive and exciting way for Mesivta bochurim who remained "in town" for the summer to spend their evenings in a healthy and kosher atmosphere.

 

Since it's inception, it has developed into a competitive and exciting inter-yeshiva basketball league, attracting teams from yeshivos in the Five Towns, Far Rockaway, Brooklyn and as far as Staten Island. The separate Junior Varsity and Varsity Divisions allow mesivta student athletes of all ages to compete in age-appropriate competitive basketball.
